Movement

Physiotherapists are highly qualified health professionals who work in partnership with their patients to help people get better and stay well.

A typical session with your physiotherapist is unique to your needs and health condition.

However, a ‘typical’ session may involve:
  • Assessing and diagnosing your condition and needs.
  • Working with you to set and attain goals—whether that's maintaining mobility and independence in aged care, to running a marathon.
  • Developing a hands-on treatment plan that will take into account your lifestyle, activities and general health.
  • Prescribing exercise and physical aides if required.

Strength

Clinical Pilates is system of safe, effective and highly specific exercises prescribed by a fully-trained Physiotherapist, to help to manage a wide range of injuries and conditions.

Our Reformer equipment offers all the benefits of Pilates; overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. These things in turn lead to daily life improvements; better posture, efficient movement, and relief from the pain associated with physical imbalance.

Physiotherapists also work closely with GPs and other health clinicians to plan and manage treatment. GPs refer more patients to physiotherapists than any other healthcare profession.

Treatment

Injuries in the Workplace

We work closely with WorkCover Qld, InjuryNet and other workers’ compensation insurers to ensure your workplace injury is treated fast and effectively, with a view to your comfortable return to work as soon as possible. Once you have visited your doctor and had your claim accepted, you do not need to wait for your claim number before having your first treatment.

Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries

Queensland operates a common law ‘fault’ based Compulsory Third Party (CTP) scheme. The scheme provides motor vehicle owners with an insurance policy that covers their unlimited liability for personal injury caused by, through or in connection with the use of the insured motor vehicle.
